The importance of donations for programs to develop and succeed.
The intake interview is a face to face meeting that takes place with each parent separately before access service begins. Our Program Coordinator conducts one intake interview with the custodial parent and another separate interview with the visiting parent.
Each parent will be contacted by the Program Coordinator to book his or her own intake interview.
The intake interview provides a perfect opportunity for each parent to describe their situation, as they see it, to express their concerns, and to get answers to their questions. In turn, the Program Coordinators review program policies, procedures, rules and regulations. They set expectations to avoid any surprises or confusion when parents come for their Supervised Access visits at the centre.
At the time of the intake interview, each parent will be asked to sign separate forms for the Consent of Disclosure of Information and the Service Agreement; these forms must be signed before supervised access service begins. Should parents not sign these forms, service will not be provided.
After the intake interview is done, forms are signed, the payment is made and space is available, it will take two to three weeks for our centre to complete the file and to schedule the first visit.
