Frequently Asked Questions

Referral Information

Who can make a referral?

Parents can directly request the service or make self-referrals. The Court, Lawyers, The Office of the Children's Lawyer (OCL) may refer a case. We require each parent to contact us.

We generally do not accept referrals from the CAS as their involvement is indicative of child protection issues.

Where does the supervised access take place?

We operate three centres in Peel Region - one location in Mississauga and two in Brampton. We also operate two centres in York Region - Aurora and Richmond Hill. All locations are child-friendly.

The addresses of these Centres will be shared with clients at the intake of the intake interview.

Will the access centre phone to remind me before each scheduled visit?

No, it is your responsibility to attend your visits regularly, based on the schedule given to you at the intake interview.

Can I use your access centres when I live outside of the province or the country?

Yes, as long as there is a court order and both parents agree to the use of our program.

How long will it take for visits to be scheduled after the intake interview has been completed?

If vacancies are available, the forms have been signed and the payment made, it will take two to three weeks for our program to complete the file and to schedule the first visit.

Can I get my money back if I change my mind after the intake interview?

No, fees are non-refundable.
