1. Personally Identifiable Information

Personally identifiable information may be requested by, and can be provided to, Social Enterprise (SEC) via our various methods of contact. This information will not be sold or distributed for reasons of profit in any way shape or form, and will only be provided to third parties if it is absolutely necessary to resolve user concerns. If contact of or with a third party is necessary, the user will be advised of the potential release of his/her information and will be allowed the opportunity to approve or decline such release of his/her information. Personally identifiable information remains the property of users at all times.

2. Confidentiality

SEC strives to ensure complete confidentiality in e-mail, telephone, fax, and all other forms of communication concerning SEC and related services. However, there are circumstances outside of the control of SEC which may lead to a breach of security. These breaches include, but are not limited to, interception of Internet e-mail, telephone signals and faxes; forgery of said communications; and computer viruses, malicious service interruptions or similar compromise of SEC and/or other computers. SEC will not be held liable for loss or damage incurred its users or any third parties as a result of breach of confidentiality for factors beyond the control of SEC.

3. Cookies

SEC does not use "cookies" or other tracking devices to gather personally identifiable information on Internet users. A cookie is used for the purposes of tracking general demographic visitor information, such as referring websites, country/province of origin, and pages visited, but does not collect or maintain any information that can identify an individual user, his/her precise location, and his/her activities.

4. Submission of Related Resources and Other Information

Third parties may wish to submit information that pertains to its services to SEC if they feel the information is relevant to SEC users. All information submitted by third parties to SEC that is to be published on www.socialenterprise.ca shall be considered, and therefore remain the intellectual property of SEC. SEC shall be free to use this information for purposes that can reasonably be determined are of benefit to its users in any manner SEC sees fit.
