A Place for Parents and their Children

About Ontario Early Years Centre

Service Philosophy

The Ontario Early Years Centres offer early learning and parenting programs for families with children of 0 - 6 years of age.

These community-based centres operate a myriad of services that address the health and development needs of children in the community.  Early Year professionals bring valuable and supportive information on relevant issues, early literacy, age specific developmental milestones and socialization.

Parents are empowered to be their child’s most important teacher and to build long term capacities for parenting.  In addition, the Centres have partnered with other organizations to offer extended services, to increase the social impact within communities.

The Ontario Early Years Centres model the recommendations of the Early Years Study and Regional Planning Table and have evolved to meet community and participants demands.
