Centre Closures due to Statutory Holidays, Professional Activity (P.A.) Days, and Training Days

Our Centres are closed for all statutory holidays:

• Labour Day       
• Good Friday    
• Thanksgiving
• Easter Monday    
• Christmas Day
• Victoria Day
• Boxing Day
• Canada Day    
• New Year’s Day
• Civic Holiday
• Family Day

All statutory holidays have been taken into consideration in your monthly fees.  Parents will be advised if a program were to close as a result of additional statutory holidays.  No reimbursements would be given in such situations.

Surveys will be sent home in advance of each P.A. Day or Training Day to determine if there is sufficient interest in operating the centre during that day. We will advise parents of the survey results.  

The applicable fee will be based on the daily cost of the program in which your child is enrolled. Fees for such unscheduled child care are payable within the week of occurrence.

If the school board were to declare an unscheduled P.A. or Training Day, the applicable fee will be based on the daily cost of the program in which your child is enrolled. The Centre Supervisor will provide fee information upon request. Payment is due prior to the P.A. or Training Day.

Care to children registered in the JK/SK program will be subject to space availability.
