Service Philosophy

The Boys and Girls Club of York Region provides an accessible, affordable and safe place where children and youth can be themselves, participate in programs, or just hang out. We offer an environment where they can develop long-lasting relationships with adult role models, relationships which have proven to have positive life-changing impacts.

Relationship building, leadership development, youth engagement, self-esteem and a sense of belonging are only a few of the benefits enjoyed by Club participants.

Through a holistic approach to child development, the Club enhances children’s and youth’s ability to become engaged citizens and leaders in their communities.
