Patricia Cousins,
Chief Executive Officer

Patricia Cousins developed, structured and launched Social Enterprise for Canada (SEC), the first blended business and benevolent service organization of its type in Canada. 

Ms. Cousins currently sits as Co-chair of the York South Simcoe Training & Adjustment Board and is a Director of the Seneca College Recreation & Facilities Management Program Advisory Committee. She assisted with the Ministry of the Attorney General review and selection of operators to deliver Supervised Access service in over 20 Ontario sites.

 Ms. Cousins acted as Chair of the Region of York Inclusivity Action Plan Welcome Centre Initiative and Social Enterprise for Canada is the administrative body of the recently funded Newmarket Welcome Centre for Immigrant Services.

Judy Sawhney,
Vice-President, Enterprise

Ms. Sawhney has been with Social Enterprise for Canada for the past 13 years. She brought with her more than twenty years experience in corporate sales and management after having worked as Manager, Comptroller Operations, Red Deer Centra-Vac Manufacturing Ltd; Director Business Manager, Tam O’Shanter Textiles; Coordinator, Director, Red Deer College, Bilingual Exchange Program, Quebec, Alberta and Newfoundland; Alberta Tourism, to the development of provincial standards, Alberta Best Practices for Customer Service within the Hotel, Restaurant Association.

Amar Ramasamy,
Chief Financial Officer

The CFO holds an MBA and CGA Designation; his background includes contract management for the Department of National Defence and financial control function of the G8 Conference in 2010.
